Daily delight: Smashbox's Creamy Cheek Colour & Brush

One of the busiest teams backstage at this week’s New Zealand Fashion Week will be the Smashbox crew headed by Neisha Henry. They are working on a huge bunch of shows by anyone’s standards, and will have their toolkits packed with the brand’s legendary primers to get things started right. The LA-based make up giant has just released its newest colour collection too, and I can pretty much guarantee that more than a few of the brand new goodies in the Masquerade collection will be getting a decent workout, too. My favourite so far is the double-ended Creamy Cheek Colour and Brush, which has a luscious, creamy cheek product formula on one side with a built-in blending brush on the other. It gives a gorgeous rose glow with its ultra-luxurious, long-wearing creamy formula, and its on-the-go friendly packaging makes it perfect for make up artists and mere mortal like ourselves as it is just so damn portable. I’m off to France in a few weeks’ time and this baby will definitely be in my make up bag both in flight and on the ground.
