Beauty destination: M.A.C PRO Britomart

It’s with huge excitement that I’d like to announce the arrival of the new flagship M·A·C PRO Store at the Britomart Precinct, which opened its doors today. The move from its old location in Chancery Square to Britomart in the heart of downtown Auckland means the M·A·C PRO Store boasts the latest in store design from New York – complete with a PRO Store-only Paint Pot Wall that has to be seen to be believed.
The stylish 80 sq metre setting reflects the M·A·C attitude that is artfully irreverent, and will continue to exclusively house M·A·C’s line of PRO Products in New Zealand alongside the brand’s myriad of colour collections, artistry tools, accessories, and skincare. For those of you that haven’t had a chance to play with them yet, M·A·C PRO Products are a line of cutting-edge, performance-tested products developed exclusively for professional makeup artists. Consisting of more than 250 different products, the M·A·C PRO collection provides makeup artists with the high-quality formulation, colours, and finishes needed to unleash their creativity at fashion shows, photography shoots and on television and film sets.
M·A·C Britomart will serve as a destination for M·A·C PRO products, a hands-on resource for professional makeup artists, an educational training facility, and a retail store open to industry pros as well as the M·A·C customer expecting the core M·A·C lineup and excellent artistry service.
To celebrate the move, Nicole Thompson – Senior Artist, M·A·C Australia, is in New Zealand this weekend to work alongside M·A·C New Zealand Senior Artist, Amber D next week. Both Senior Artists have recently worked on Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks at shows such as Vivienne Westwood, Marni and DSquared2. Customers wanting personalized makeup advice can book in with either Nicole or Amber D for one-on-one 90 minute Featured Artist appointments at the new store.
Featured Artist appointments will be available with Nicole Thompson on Monday 1st August and Thursday 4th August 2011. Featured Artist appointments will be available with Amber D on Thursday 4th August only. The 90 minute one-on-one appointment is $180.00 fully redeemable against products purchased the same day.
