Love: M.A.C Golden Gaze Mineralize Shadow

From the minute I first started seeing swatches hitting the internet, I knew that M.A.C’s Semi Precious was a collection I would simply HAVE to have a piece of. It’s all rather gorgeous, but my favourite – and one of the standout hits of the collection – is the Golden Gaze Mineralize eye shadow, above.
Incredibly versatile and rather delicious just to look at in the pot, Golden Gaze is a beautiful charcoal black infused with a brassy golden glimmer. It is described on the M.A.C website as simply Gold & Black, but it is definitely so much more. It has a medium pigmentation and applies evenly really evenly, with a true gold sheen when applied dry. My favourite way to wear it however is applied wet, when it becomes a true blackened gold. At its full effect it's a great shade for a statement smokey eye, and also makes for a nice, softened black eyeliner for day.
