In love with: Nars Delphi eyeshadow trio

If you like your eyeshadow cool in tone and easily blendable, then they don’t come much better than Delphes, a limited edition piece from the NARS 2011 Fall collection.
The ruins at Delphi, where the ancient Greeks worshipped the god Apollo, inspired Delphes, which is best described as a cool-toned trio of sparkling, sheer peach, matte dove gray and frosty sage. Incredibly wearable and super versatile, I fell in love with this trio the minute that I first had a play due to its easy blendability – a bonus when you’re not a makeup pro, just a great pretender like me!
Breaking down the shades, this is what I recommend for each:
Sparkling Peach — This shade contains large pieces of silver glitter, so go easy with the application if that’s not your bag. I think a sheer wash of this looks a treat for day, and although it’s part of a Fall collection, it’ll be a great shade for the upcoming Southern Hemisphere summer.
Dove Gray — This shadow is as matte as they come, and works really well when applied wet as a liner. A great day time alternative to black or brown liner in particular, and a nice compliment to blue eyes.
Frosted Sage — This member of the trio is quite intensely pigmented, but still very blendable due to the quality of the powder. This shade is incredibly flattering on all colours and skintones, too.
Love this trio, love NARS, enough said really!
