Sebastian Professional ignites your colour

With pretty much every woman – and man – and her dog colouring their hair these days, there’s been a plethora of colour-protecting products flooding the beauty market to help keep your locks looking fresh and bright.
The latest to cross my desk is from those clever people at Sebastian Professional, and come in the form of Color Ignite Shampoo and Conditioners. It’s the first line of colour care products specially designed to read and respond to the unique care needs of coloured hair, and it goes above and beyond the call of duty by coming in two very different formulations for mono-toned and multi-toned hair. This means that your colour stays vibrant and shine remains brilliant – and retains the individual colour created for you by your hairdresser for longer.
Both contain “Smart Colour Complex”, which “intelligently recognizes, responds and reacts to the varying conditions of single tone or multi-tonal and lightened hair for individualised results”. MONO Shampoo and Conditioner for single tone hair colours contains a ‘Smart Colour Seal Complex’ to seal the cuticle, balance the hair structure and smooth the hair surface, reflecting light across the hair and taking silky shine to a whole new level of fabulous. MULTI Shampoo and Conditioner for multi-tonal or lightened hair like mine uses a ‘Smart Colour Moisture Complex’ to target damaged hair strands, restructuring them to unleash colour vibrancy and shine. The “Smart Colour Moisture Complex” searches for the specific hair coloured areas where higher moisturisation is needed and helps to repair and restructure the cuticle. Told you it was clever!
The conditioners are also pretty amazing to use as they come in a “whipped” formula, meaning that they really spread throughout your hair while they work their magic. As well as looking pretty cute, the whipped formula has thousands of micro bubbles, which create a super thin veil of colour protection polymers that reach and wrap each hair fibre to efficiently seal in colour and create extended vibrancy results.
