And even if you’re not into seriously large tresses, chances are you want a little more controlled body in your hair, and the latest addition to Redken’s volume collection – Full Effect 04 – is here to help.
A meringue-like mousse in texture, Full Effect 04 is incredibly easy to distribute when you are looking to boost volume from root to tip. The ultra-light formula works to improve the hair’s condition and detangle matted locks as well, leaving hair soft and manageable without any stickiness or crunch.
Its “Volume Lock Complex” (!) features Styling Polymers for instant shape memory, cotton extract to give extra volume, UV filters to protect from environmental aggressors (love that) and Vitamin E to reduce fading if you have coloured hair like mine. The nourishing formula works to improve follicle condition for healthier looking hair all over, which can only be a good thing.
To apply Full Effect 04, scrunch through towel-dried hair and blow-dry with a round brush.
