Love it: Grown Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream
When it comes to hand creams the market is so flooded that it takes a lot to impress your average beauty buyer, and even more to impress me. In my opinion, a hand cream has to tick ALL of the boxes to warrant an opening of the wallet: a superb fragrance, a high performance formula and a non-greasy after-feel… and that’s just for starters!
One that I have been using for a few weeks now that I can honestly say is one of the best hand creams I’ve ever used is boutique naturals brand Grown’s Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream. To say this is an absolute winner would be an understatement – it really has entered the realm of the “must have”.
A non-greasy formulation of moisturising active botanicals, it naturally soothes and softens dry undernourished hands as well as cuticles and is a joy to use. Bio Active Ingredients in there include antioxidants from grape seed, wheatgerm and rose hip oil to protect against free radical damage and boost the skin’s natural protective function, whilst Rose Hip and Camellia Seed Oil increase its lipid content which helps to restore moisture levels and enhances the skin’s natural moisture retaining capability.
Needless to say, it contains none of the bad stuff like lauryl sulphate, petrochemicals, artificial fragrance, animal dervatives and parabens, and the retro-leaning packaging is totally recyclable. Love that!
If you’re not familiar with Australian organic skincare brand Grown then please head over right now and check out their – rather snazzy - website. The philosophy of the brand is that “beautiful healthy looking skin comes from a profound understanding of nature’s power”, to which I say a big “hear, hear!”
