In love with: The Monica Lipstick Collection

I make no secret of the fact that I love lipstick, and I also absolutely adore Italian actress Monica Bellucci – in my opinion one of the foxiest women in the world today.
I was very excited to learn that she is the latest face for Dolce & Gabbana, joining Scarlett Johansson and Felicity Jones.
 Bellucci, an incredible 47, is a friend of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and they have created a beautiful lipstick line named for her—the Monica Lipstick Collection—which will hit stores on May 12.
 With six shades, the Monica Lipstick Collection celebrates 'her remarkable magnetism' according to a press release, and will be available for a limited time only.
Explaining the collaboration further, the release states: “With her famed fulsome lips, impeccable complexion and daring, expressive eyes she exudes the irony, mystery and charm that comprises the very essence of the Dolce & Gabbana woman.” Domenico Dolce enthused, “we love Monica and have worked with her many times over the past 20 years. Her beauty is timeless,” with Stefano Gabbana adding, “she expresses perfectly the Dolce & Gabbana woman. She is ravishing - a true Italian icon.”
Famed for her killer curves, Bellucci also posed for her fellow countrymen in the Spring 2012 campaign for their ready-to-wear collection, whilst this image for the lipstick campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and was inspired by Italian cinema. Love it.
