News: it's true, M.A.C really is a girl’s best friend

I just had confirmed one of the most exciting beauty-focused rumours I’ve heard in a while – that those legendary types at M.A.C will be celebrating Marilyn Monroe’s legacy and iconic beauty look with a limited edition colour cosmetics collection, due to hit all worldwide M.A.C locations in October!
Launched in partnership with Authentic Brands Group LLC, which acquired the intellectual property of Marilyn Monroe LLC in January 2011, the collection will feature about 30 custom-designed pieces, including eye shadows, lipsticks, nail lacquers and eyeliners. Given that Marilyn had such an iconic and totally timeless look I’m guessing that this collection will be ultra wearable, super flattering and essential buying! Hallelujah and long live Monroe…
