All about: OPI’s all new, all good GelColor line
When gel hybrid polishes first started flooding the nail market about 18 months ago two things immediately had me “sold” on the idea – their longevity (up to two weeks) and their application and dry time (around 20 minutes, tops).
Fast forward to 2012 and OPI have absolutely slammed those two elements out of the ballpark with GelColor, a revolutionary professional treatment featuring full-gel lacquers that apply in minutes, for manicures and pedicures that last two to three weeks. GelColor is easily applied like traditional polish and flash LED UV-cured in a total of four minutes – that’s almost four times faster than the standard gels out there on the market!
Unlike gel and polish hybrids, OPI’s formula is 100% gel, which lasts for a minimum of two to three weeks while maintaining its lustre, and can be easily removed in 15 minutes with individual fingertip soak-off sleeves, without nail or cuticle damage.
The line debut will include 30 of the most sought-after OPI hues – along with base and top coats – like Here Today…Aragon Tomorrow, Big Apple Red, Passion, Lincoln Park After Dark, Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not, Russian Navy, I’m Not Really a Waitress and You Don’t Know Jacques!
I’m off to try this baby tomorrow morning and can’t wait. It sounds almost too good to be true, but if all reports are correct then I’m set to become a huge fan!
