Giveaway: all too delicious Cloudy Bay 2010 Pinot Noir

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to a rather fabulous “double lunch”, which took place at the Foodtsore and Botswana Butchery – two rather stellar eating houses that I simply don’t get to enough!
The occasion was the official announcement of the Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck trail, which is one hell of a wine and food match if ever I heard one. Official duck hunting season runs until the end of July, but for those who prefer the hospitable surroundings of a restaurant and a glass of Pinot Noir with their duck, the Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck trail offers New Zealanders the ultimate culinary Pinot Noir and Duck experience. And I can vouch for the fact that it truly is an “experience”, one that was off the Richter on the taste scale for one!
Eleven of the country’s best restaurants will be creating a food and wine match made in heaven, serving signature duck dishes paired with a glass of the Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir for diners to enjoy from this Sunday 1st of July until the 31st.
To celebrate, I have two delicious bottles of the 2010 Vintage Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir to give away, which boasts layers of dark berries and cherry, cinnamon, fresh herbs, bramble fruit and cranberry, balanced with notes of fresh mushroom, white pepper and savoury spice. In a word: delicious.
To go in the draw email helene@mshelene.com with you name, date of birth (you have to be over 18 to enter) and courier address. Get in there – and good luck!
