Love it: new Weleda Body Lotions - and packaging

I’m a huge fan of Weleda’s Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash, so was super excited to hear that the beautiful scent is now available as one of two new decadent body lotions from the all-good brand.
The two are welcome additions to their already hugely popular body lotion range, and the Pomegranate Regenerating Body Lotion - for maturing skin – is a serious joy to use. The Pomegranate is a fruit renowned for its ability to stimulate skin renewal, while also actively helping prevent the signs of premature ageing.  Brimming with organic pomegranate seed oil, apricot kernel oil and shea butter, these key ingredients work together in this yummy formula to stimulate cell renewal and protect skin from damaging external influences. The end result aims to be noticeably firmer skin, feeling velvety-smooth, and scented with a subtle hint of pomegranate fragrance. Delicious.
The other newbie is the Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion for normal skin.  Formulated to care for the entire family, it regulates moisture balance as well as cooling and hydrating the skin with a combination of organic aloe vera, coconut oil and sesame oil.
Weleda’s existing body lotions have also been transformed, and the entire range is now housed in a pump bottle that is perfect for travel over the summer months. The brand has always aimed to lead the way in sustainability, taking the whole product packaging life cycle into consideration (primary, secondary, tertiary packaging, production, distribution and re-use). The new body lotion bottle is made from recycled plastic and the folding box is 50% recycled board and 50% FSC managed forest stock. Weleda’s printing partner is FSC and carbon neutral certified with a closed production cycle, full recycling of waste and energy, and uses vegetable-based inks only. Hallelujah!
