How To: Naomie Harris, the Australian Skyfall Premiere

When I spent a week in Byron Bay recently I was for fortunate enough to see more than my fair share of beautiful things, including UK actor – and Bond girl - Naomie Harris making like a pretzel next to me in my morning yoga class each day at the Byron At Byron resort!
The exquisite looking thesp stars as Moneypenny in the new James Bond film Skyfall, and had traveled to Byron after attending the premiere in Sydney with her equally lovely mum.
In Byron she stuck to a wardrobe of singlets and cut off denims, but on the red carpet wore a beautiful petrol coloured Maison Martin Margiela loose asymmetric gown, with a classic Hollywood wave created by stylist Alan White for Moroccanoil.
Despite attending more than a few classes with Naomie I didn’t manage to even come close to imitating her lean, lithe bod, but Alan White has shared how to get the hair look she sported in Sydney, which is remarkably achievable!
How The Look Was Created:
1. He started by applying a small amount of Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream together with Moroccanoil Treatment to towel dried hair.
2. Next he blow-dried Naomie’s hair using a natural bristle round brush focusing on volume with plenty of lift and bounce through the mid lengths and ends. “The incredibly smooth frizz-free finish created on the hair had an enhanced shine and plenty of hold.”
3. Next, he placed in a low side parting to keep this old Hollywood look modern. He took medium sized sections and created large barrel curls from the part line down using a curling iron. “I pinned the curls into place while they were still warm for maximum hold.“
4. When hair had set he brushed out the back and sides vigorously which loosened the curls and created voluminous waves.
5. He then added a small amount of Moroccanoil Treatment to the palms of his hands and worked it through the hair from the side part down to the wave. “This smoothed down any flyaways and left an incredible luminous shine and luxurious silky finish.”
6. A light dusting of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong was all he needed to lock in the style on both sides of the part line. “I brushed the hair tight to the head then into the free flowing waves leaving the hair touchable with a healthy looking shine.”
7. Finally, he applied Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to smooth the waves down to form “that Red Carpet beautiful Hollywood wave”.
