Beauty news: Lucy and the Powder Room introduces Synergie
The wonderful Lucy Vincent and her clever clogs beauty team
at Lucy and the Powder Room are always on the hunt for killer new product
lines, and are amongst the staunchest in the business when it comes to
standards that anything new needs to meet. Needless to say, that means that
anything that passes muster will most likely be pretty damn impressive, the
latest being the Synergie line of skincare.
Synergie joins their carefully curated selection of skincare
lines available at both Takapuna and Newmaket locations this week, and you can
get a great chance to try it for yourself via the new Winter Warmer package.
But first, a little about Synergie. Founded by Australian
biomedical scientist Terri Vinson, it is a collection of highly active
cosmeceuticals that is blissfully free of toxic additives. The collection is
designed to protect the skin from harsh environmental conditions, harnessing
the best of science and nature, using only the most ethical, safe and effective
ingredients. A major in both Immunology and Microbiology and having owned a
skin clinic in Melbourne, Vinson saw an opportunity for a range that was
cosmeceutical grade, yet very active and using stable ingredients. The end
result was Synergie, and the collection now includes a range of essential
vitamin serums ( A, B, C and D), cleansers, moisturisers and sun
protection. Highly concentrated, a little goes a long way and the
effectiveness can reportedly be recognised in as little as three days -
amazing!
To introduce this exciting new addition, Lucy and the Powder
Room's Winter Package - from June 1 - has been designed to include some of
Synergie's exceptional practitioner products. First up a Synergie Lactic-based
Hydro Peel and Age Revert Mask work to restore and hydrate the face, then
a restorative foot massage and a luxe paraffin wax treatment - amazing! - will
warm and nourish the feet. The Age Revert Mask's key ingredient
is Niacinamide, which regulates oil production, enhances skins
immunity and helps to combat hyper pigmentation. It’s the perfect restorative
mask for winter's climatic extremes and also contains Manuka Honey, a
powerful antiseptic and healer.
The Winter Warmer $100 (value $160) and is available until
August 31. For bookings call Newmarket (09) 524 6702 or Takapuna (09) 488
