Love it: Kevin Murphy’s new SHIMMER.SHINE

I fall in love with pretty much every product that the very clever Kevin Murphy releases, and the latest is definitely no different - and perfectly suited to my hair... Bonus!

The first product in the brand’s new Treatment and Styling segment, SHIMMER.SHINE is a repair mist - and much more besides - that provides a gorgeous, luminous look while simultaneously treating damaged hair. It’s an absolute godsend for long locks in particular, and will be a huge hit come summer for sure.

SHIMMER.SHINE contains the same type of Mica as found in eye shadow, which reflects light and adds a brilliant shine to hair without leaving an oily residue. Immortelle - one of Murphy’s most unique ingredients - and Baobab extracts are also in there, which are rich in antioxidants to moisturise and add elasticity to the surface of the hair without a greasy feel.  SHIMMER.SHINE also contains Bamboo extracts and Vitamins A, C and E that are instantly absorbed deep into the cortex, nourishing and thickening the hair as you apply.

To use this little wonder, spray SHIMMER.SHINE into damp hair then blow dry to receive the full treatment benefits or spray onto dry hair for a shimmering finishing mist (see you later, flyaways) and leave-in treatment - perfect for after a day at the beach or by the pool, where I’ll be using it this time next week in France. The one thing to remember is to shake the bottle well before each use to activate the ingredients - and make it look really rather gorgeous too!
