Beauty news: the #ghdproudtobepink competition

As a breast cancer survivor I’m all about raising awareness - and the funds to fight - the disease striking down what seems to be an insane amount of women in my orbit, and the latest I’ve heard about come courtesy of the eternally-loved ghd. I remember years ago writing about this brand’s breast cancer initiatives, which have always been unique, creative and very cool.

The latest in New Zealand asks you to help ghd support the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation “and show us how you're proud to be PINK!”

It comes in the form of a totally visual competition, which asks you to let loose the creativity when it comes to PINK DIAMOND.

To enter, follow @ghdnz on Instagram and then upload your PINK DIAMOND inspired image with the hashtag #ghdproudtobepink and your photo will pop up in the gallery within the Facebook application. The lucky winner will receive a ghd V pink diamond professional styler set, a Jazz Night Dress from RUBY and a pampering package from a ghd salon. Four runners up will also win a ghd V pink diamond professional styler set, so although the competition will be fierce, there is more than one winner on the day!

The competition finishes on the 4th September at 11:59pm, so get creative and get tagging.
