I try: a Priori Coffeeberry Yoga Power Facial at Lissy Hunter
When I first started driving from my home in Ponsonby to
Lissy Hunter Body, Nail and Skincare - a beautiful boutique beauty therapy
salon located in Kohimarama - for regular treatments people looked at me like I
was mad. The average Aucklander hates traveling beyond their suburb at the best
of times, but for a pedicure? For a facial?
Some commented that to drive all that way she must be very good
at what she does and she most definitely is - and even came recommended by long
time key player in industry. When she took on another therapist this year it
was a big deal as Lissy is so key to her business, but I was pretty excited to
find out why when I was invited along to have a facial with Sarah a couple of
weeks ago.
The facial in question was a Priori Coffeeberry Yoga Power
Facial, which also came along with a lot of recommendations. Made up of over 90
per cent natural ingredients including Coffeeberry itself, Priori’s CoffeeBerry Natureceuticals
range is bliss to use, and the facials will help you look and feel good
naturally, with benefits that include tightening, toning and releasing tension.
The synergetic effects of detoxification, massage, lifting techniques and
increased circulation aims to leave your skin with a natural lift and smoother
lines, and the process includes everything from massage to exfoliation,
tightening and more. It’s suitable for most skin types too, and Coffeeberry is
packed with 10 times more potent antioxidants than green tea so you know it’s
going to make a difference.
The treatment began with a gentle opening massage to align
the body and induce relaxation, then
Papaya and Pumpkin Enzymes were used to gently slough dead
skin cells whilst Coffeeberry Extract lightened, tightened and brightened the
skin. Priori’s Tightening Serum was layered on to give an instant lift to the
skin, then Brightening Facial Complex was added to fight dark spots whilst to
finish, the Day Complex nourishes and protects.
The facial had a huge massage element that I love, and I
find my skin reacts really well to just a big boost of TLC. I also left feeling
almost heady with relaxation, and definitely of the mindset that when she’s out
of the clinic and Sarah is in charge, it is most definitely in good hands.
