Love it: L'Oréal Paris False Lash Butterfly Wings
During the summer months makeup is best kept to a minimum in
my humble opinion, especially when you’re dealing with major humidity and
regular dips in and out of the sea or the pool.
You can still look as polished as all heck however, with
judicious use of the likes of bronzer, tinted moisturiser/BB cream, a little
nude lip and some serious lash.
The mascara formula that I’ve been loving having a play with
over the last few weeks is L'Oréal Paris’ brand new False Lash Butterfly Wings
mascara, which has a super innovative ‘butterfly wing’ brush design that is one
of the most unusual I have seen. The slightly asymmetrical design makes it way
easier to grab each and every lash, all of which are immediately lifted for
some serious sass.
The handle design takes a little getting used to but the
application is really easy. Once the brush is pulled out of the tube, it is
loaded with enough product to use as one full coat on your lashes. Personally,
I like to use the smaller bristles first to coat my lashes and then the special
butterfly side as a finishing effect, and I do love to load on a mascara when
the rest of my face is bare. It has great staying power and even the hold of
the curl was great, even after a whole day’s wear. It’s also available in Black
or Waterproof Black, making it ideal for poolside wear, how glam-tastic is
that?
