Mother’s Day: at Tapestry and Spa at the Pullman

One of my favourite Auckland day spas and an award winner to boot, Spa at the Pullman at the Pullman Hotel is another of my top picks for a way to celebrate Mother’s Day.

It’s the beauty destination that partnered with Whittaker’s chocolate last year to bring an Easter-related promotion that had to be tried to be believed (a chocolate body scrub, anyone?), and this year they have partnered with Tea Forté to create three bespoke 60 minute Tea Forté infused scrub treatments - Orchid Vanilla, African Solstice and Moroccan Mint - especially for Mother’s Day.

Combining a full body brush, Tea Forté infused scrub, and a relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage, this spa journey comes in at under $140 and even includes complimentary valet parking, a post treatment Tea Forté experience, and a take home gift.

The hotel has also created a High Tea experience alongside Tea Forté with a menu designed by Chef Charlie Pihera. Featuring a complimentary glass of bubbles for Mum on arrival and a delicate collection of sweet pastries and miniature savouries, the high tea is complemented with a range of Tea Forté’s premium quality handcrafted teas. As part of the experience, Mums will be invited to join Tea Forté’s blendologist Kelly Bain for a tea blending session where they can design their own tea combination to take home to enjoy. Tapestry Dining’s High Tea is priced at $49 per person, $24.50 per child with children under 5 years dining free (up to two bubs per table).
