One of Dermalogica’s best selling and most loved, medium weight moisturisers, AGE Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 has recently had a makeover - it seems that one of the best CAN actually get better!

The new version of Dermalogica’s peptide-powered moisturiser will be available from June 16 2014, complete with increased sun protection and skin-calming benefits that make it an option for even more skin types.

The new formula upgrade accelerates the medium-weight moisturiser product’s SPF from 30 to 50, which has been made possible thanks to the brand’s very clever, ‘Oleosome’ technology. Oleosomes are naturally occurring spheres of emollient oils and Vitamin E found in Safflower seeds that are used to deliver active ingredients such as sunscreens directly to the skin surface, where they release them over time to ensure maximum skin benefits. Oleosome technology also prevents unwanted oiliness or chalkiness in the product, meaning that it’s a sunscreen-packed formula that you will actually use every day as opposed to leave in the bathroom cabinet for trips to the beach. It also uses 50 per cent less chemical sunscreen agents due to Dermalogica’s encapsulation formulation process, and has the added bonus of Liquorice extract, a calming agent, working hard to reduce the risk of irritation that can come with chemical sunscreens.

And if that isn’t enough to get you excited, it also reduces hyperpigmentation and contains a patented polypeptide which helps to stimulate collagen synthesis along with its trademark combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Algae Extracts for long lasting hydration.
