Love it: OPI’s beautiful new Nordic Collection for nails

I’m a BIG fan of wearing OPI GelColor on both my fingers and my toes, and always get pretty damn excited when new colours are released onto the market. One collection that I’ve really fallen head over heels for of late is the new Nordic Collection of polishes and gels, which is a sea of twelve beautiful new shades that have to be seen to be believed!

Reportedly inspired by the great northern lights in Finland, deep blue fjords in Norway, and colourful houses in Copenhagen, the Nordic Collection by OPI features a palette ranging from spicy browns in shades of bronze, cinnamon and caramel to rich purples in wine, black cherry and blue-violet hues, with accents of creamy coral, pink and sea green. Truly something for everyone - and then some.

“When creating colours for a new seasonal collection, I always draw inspiration from the food, music, art, landscape and street style of a particular destination,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “While conceptualising the shades of the Nordic Collection, I ate cinnamon buns and drank glogg, snapped photographs of brightly painted houses, and gazed in wonder at the region’s topography – from the northern lights and midnight sun to lava flats and deep fjords. All of these diverse elements came together to inspire an equally varied array of colours that capture the aesthetic of the Nordic region.”

All of the nail lacquer shades feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for easy application, and the collection is made up of the following shades in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas:
