Love it: Mecca Cosmetica’s Elixir Luxury Body Oil

The top seller in Mecca Cosmetica’s incredible Signature Line as well as their number one selling body product, the dangerously addictive Elixir Luxury Body Oil is both beautiful to use and impossible to put down. I am a big user of body oils and have to say that this blew me away from first slick on the skin, which given the number of great ones I have tried is definitely saying something!

Firstly the formulation is incredible. It is a true skin-loving powerhouse of vitamins A, B and E, derived from sandalwood nut oil in its purest form. Add to that rosehip, jojoba, avocado and nut oils and you have a heady cocktail that your skin will just drink up. And drink up immediately - apparently it was critical for Mecca owner Jo Horgan that this product was “light enough to use every day, yet strong enough to target stretch marks”, and it really does glide on effortlessly like liquid silk and melts into skin for an instant and transformative anti-ageing moisture boost.

The folks at Mecca Cosmetica declare this beautiful product to be the “ultimate in body luxury, created by the beauty obsessed for the beauty aficionado who wants it all”, which is big talk but I think it may be true! As an aside I also adore the packaging, which is sleekly luxurious and quite the joy all on its own.

Now I’m dying to try the brand’s Signature Line Tinted Body Foundation in the lead up to summer, which has had some amazing reviews and sounds like just the ticket for long, lovely limbs in an instant.
