How to: Kiehl’s and Emily Blunt at the Golden Globes

It must be said that for the 2015 Golden Globes English beauty Emily Blunt really bought her ‘A’ game. Leave it to the Into the Woods actress to add a little boho vibe to her look in the form of a braided updo (that will undoubtedly be copied mercilessly from here on in), and her makeup was perfectly on point and let her skin’s own natural fabulousness shine on through.
Makeup artist Jenn Streicher reportedly used several Kiehl’s products on Emily, carefully layered to best effect. She said, “Emily is wearing a gorgeous white Michael Kors dress with to-die-for jewels by Lorraine Schwartz – both the dress and jewels were custom made just for Emily. I can't remember the last time Emily wore white on the red carpet! Because she just returned from a sunny get-away, her skin was perfectly bronzed for a white gown. And because we decided to have her hair loosely back I wanted her makeup to be soft and ethereal and just a pop of color on the lips to bring out the jewels.”
She emphasised that “the first and most important step is prepping the skin. I started with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. And because I knew Emily would wear a matte lip, I slathered her lips in the Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1. I then started on Emily's eye makeup so her skin treatments could properly absorb.”
Before she started on the foundation, “I used a bit of the Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector in the T-zone” to create the perfect canvas for the star’s neutral-with-an-edge makeup look. Love it.
