What a steal: Goodness Every Week Face Scrub
I’m not a huge user of
manual exfoliants, mainly due to my sensitive skin and adherence to the rule
that “skin is like delicate fabric, and should be treated as such”. Having said
that, I have come across a few scrubs in my time that do just that, and are super
delicate as well as pretty damn effective.
Goodness Every Week Face
Scrub is the latest to push my buttons, and has a local find as its key ingredient
– pumice. Apparently they ground it up and found they had the perfect natural
scrubbing powder for scratch-free exfoliation. Goodness also added some other marvels from Mother Nature,
including avocado, coconut oils, apple extract and the crème de la
crème of all Goodness Natural Beauty Lab ingredients – Certified
Organic Chia Seed Oil. It feels light and delicious on the skin, and I have
been using it once a week without fail. You just wet your face, apply, buff,
rinse, pat dry and moisturise. Too easy!
If you haven’t heard of it
before, Goodness Natural Beauty Lab is a new range of natural skincare that
uses Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil as its main ingredient. Goodness Certified
Organic Chia Seed Oil has the perfect 3:1 ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 essential
fatty acids. A whopping dose of omega 3 with a small dash of omega 6 means the
essential fatty acids are delivered in just the right quantities for general
skin goodness and healthiness. Goodness is the first in New Zealand to bring
out a range based on this wonder ingredient.
All of their products are
free from artificial fragrance and have no colourants added. They would never
test their products on animals, always use recyclable packaging and when you
use the biodegradable products, the waterways will be left clean.
Oh and Goodness Every Week
Face Scrub is just RRP $15.99 for a 50ml tube, which is most definitely a ‘steal’
in my books.
Goodness products are
