Beauty news: Alessandra Ambrosio joins L’Oréal Professionnel’s glam team

She’s hot on the runway and on the ‘Gram, so it comes as no surprise that L’Oréal Professionnel have snapped up Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio for their prestigious glam squad.
Alongside L’Oréal Professionnel’s international spokesperson Eva Green, who is pursuing her collaboration with L’Oréal Professionnel in 2016, Alessandra will represent DIA Richesse Hi-Visibility, one of the brand’s key colour launches this year. I love the fact that she is physically so different from the goth glam Eva, but still totally on brand for the global beauty giant.
With her finger always on the pulse of the fashion, social media and beauty worlds, Ambrosio was an obvious choice for L’Oréal Professionnel. The Brazilian supermodel, iconic Victoria’s
Secret “Angel” and creator of her own label Ale by Alessandra, counts more than 10 million followers on social networks. Whether as a top supermodel recognised worldwide or a committed campaigner or gracing the covers of magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and GQ, Ambrosio has become a role model for many women – and as carefully ahem, “watched” by men.
DIA Richesse Hi-Visibility is the brand’s new tone-on-tone hair colour set to launch in New Zealand June 2016. The new colour service delivers an ultra-visible colour signature on all hair bases, including dark tones.
“We are very happy to welcome Alessandra Ambrosio to the L’Oréal Professionnel team. This partnership illustrates the brand's strong digital transformation, which we've accelerated since 2014. Ambrosio perfectly embodies the values of fashion and beauty that are key for L’Oréal Professionnel. I am sure she will inspire many women and give them the desire to go to the salon,” says Anne-Laure Lecerf, L’Oréal Professionnel International Managing Director.
With hair as on point as Alessandra’s there is no question about that.
