Beauty news: M.A.C VIVA GLAM Ariana Grande 2 set to land

M.A.C announced way back in June that Ariana Grande will be launching her second VIVA GLAM collaboration this September – and by god it’s a winner. For the campaign, Miss Grande is decked out in hair-to-toe pink in a dollhouse-like setting, looking quite literally like a living doll. Just fabulous, honestly! And as for the product to match? Just perfection.

In the new campaign, Ariana wears a bold pink matte lip - VIVA GLAM Ariana Grande 2 - that has a deeper orchid shade to it, which keeps it from venturing too far into basic Barbie territory. The matte pink is joined by a new Lipglass, which is a softer pale pink with lots of shimmer, making it perfect for layering over your lipstick for a glossy finish or wearing alone for a subtly sexy daytime look.

As you may recall, Ariana was announced as MAC’s 2016 Viva Glam spokesmodel back in October of 2015 and started off with quite the statement look that I also absolutely loved. For her first launch in January, the singer and M.A.C chose a dark matte plum lip and a slightly different pale pink gloss that like the newest incarnation, let fans create bold and softer looks alike.

As with every Viva Glam collection, every cent from the selling price of Ariana’s latest products will go to the M.A.C AIDS Fund, which helps women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Helping to drive fundraising for the M·A·C AIDS Fund have been a cadre of celebrity spokespeople.  Each connected with a specific shade of VIVA GLAM Lipstick, these spokespeople have made public appearances and appeared in advertisements to raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV and AIDS.  The inaugural VIVA GLAM spokesperson was performer, RuPaul. Since then, others have joined the ranks, including k.d. lang, Mary J. Blige, Sir Elton John, Shirley Manson, Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, Boy George, Linda Evangelista, Chloë Sevigny, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Debbie Harry, Lisa Marie Presley, Eve, Dita Von Teese, Fergie, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus… and now, Ariana.
