Love it: Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser
Cleansing your skin is one of the most important parts of the skincare regimen, and it’s always a good idea to track down a lighter yet still nourishing cleanser when the temperature starts to rise. It can definitely help address the dryness that comes with the change in season and when used correctly can make a real difference to your skin’s health and wellbeing. Cleansing removes makeup, dirt and debris from the skin. It also helps to cleanse pores (hair follicles actually) of dead skin cells and sebum to help prevent acne. Skin craziness also ramps up when the temperature does – as in: silly season parties and associated shenanigans and makeup meltdown, and humid air leading to clogged pores. You need a cleanser that cares, and boy, do I have the one for you!
It comes in the form of Kiehl’s new Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser, which lands on counter (RRP $42) on October 16. An ultra-gentle, foaming gel-lotion cleanser, it softly melts away dirt, impurities, and make-up while conditioning even dry, sensitive skin for a fresh-feeling clean that lasts all day. Formulated with whole cucumbers, carefully extracted to preserve the quality and nutrients of the fruit, and plant-based glycerin, this non-drying, non-irritating beauty maintains your skin's moisture levels and leaves it soothed, velvety soft, and comfortably cleansed. Cucumber is a popular ingredient at Kiehl’s with good reason: its ability to soothe is second to none. Add to that the fact that this cleanser is soap and sulfate free and you have a naturally caring powerhouse that can be used daily on all skin types, particularly sensitive ones.
To use, apply a small amount to clean fingertips and gently massage into damp facial areas in upward, circular motions. Rinse thoroughly or remove excess with a damp face cloth and you’re good to go – zero tightness and soft, soothed skin. After cleansing with Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser for the first time my skin felt not only incredibly refreshed but also delightfully hydrated – exactly what you need come summer.
