Beauty news: new Gucci Beauty is here

In great news for fans of the brand – and honestly, who isn’t - Gucci Beauty have added yet more immediately-covetable items to their ever-growing, rule breaking makeup line.

Conveying a fresh message across the industry when it launched last year, Gucci Makeup has spurred on a community of voices that believe in authentic, imperfect beauty. Gucci Beauty began with the release of three lipstick collections: Rouge à Lèvres Satin, Rouge à Lèvres Voile and Baume à Lèvres, and the world was instantly hooked. Rouge à Lèvres Lunaison was next up, delivering vivid and vibrant colour with one swipe, followed by Mascara L'Obscur – which has become hands down, one of my favourite mascara formulas EVER.

Now the creative journey of Alessandro Michele continues with the introduction of new Gucci Beauty face and eye makeup. The launch is made up of three products designed to “enhance character”: Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel, an ultra-smoothing mattifying pressed face powder; Crayon Définition Sourcils, a defining brow pencil; and Éclat De Beauté Effet Lumière, a gloss- effect multi-use face gel. Designed to enrich and complement the House lipstick collections, the three products are set to be cornerstones of the everyday makeup routine.

Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel had me at the stunning packaging, and I love that it’s an easily buildable, blurring face powder with the most velvety texture. Encased within a pale pink refillable click compact with gold trim and mirror, it comes in 12 shades and is suitable for all skin types.

Crayon Définition Sourcils is a light, luxurious pencil made for drawing and filling in the brows. Dual-sided with a handy spoolie at one end, it allows colour to be combed through the brows, blending effortlessly for a polished finish.

Last up, Éclat De Beauté Effet Lumière is a multi-use Gel Gloss designed to add a luminous light effect wherever and whenever you apply it. Able to be used on eyes, lips and cheeks, it is housed in a circular pale pink pot finished with Gucci lettering in gold, and comes in one universal shade.
