Lernberger Stafsing is a Swedish company distributed exclusively in New Zealand by respected Scandi beauty destination, The Skin Wardrobe. Founded in 2011 by business and life partners, Patrik Lernberger and Mattias Stafsing, the brand is that perfect mix of high performance and luxury, but with a no-fuss, minimalist approach so common to beauty industry names from the likes of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. It also looks as good as it feels, the beautiful packaging just the icing on the cake with this beautiful brand. Completely vegan and made without the use of harmful chemicals, parabens et al, you can also trust that what is going on your skin won’t cause more harm than good. Oh and with one founder who is a long time celebrated hair stylist and another who is an ex-model and makeup artist, you know these two know what they are doing when it comes to creating something pretty special.

What made you venture into skincare?
We are devoted to the realm of Beauty and Alternative Healthcare, so venturing into skincare was a seamless transition for us following our successful haircare brainchild. Our ideology is straightforward: to offer radical, honest and professional beauty products that both simplify and embellish your every day. With our driving force in makeup, we have studied over several decades the condition of the skin and its many triggers.

How would you define Scandinavian Beauty?
An uncomplicated routine using result-powered blends with fuss-free communication. Scandinavian beauty is grounded on equitable active ingredients generating present-time results. Substances used are organic, vegan, silicone-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free and are not tested on animals. 

Where is Lernberger Stafsing skincare made?
The entire Lernberger. Stafsing range is manufactured in Sweden for quality control purposes. Additionally, we extensively filtered the world's best chemists to finally partner with a skin specialist from South Korea operating from her own, London-based laboratory. We could not be more proud. She loves Sweden as much as we do and shares our devotion to quality and social sustainability. Our experience and her knowledge are a match made in heaven.

How does one choose the right routine to meet specific skin needs?
Our skin fluctuates, enticed by contrasting climate change, and indoor ventilation. Our routines are very clear by definition of each of our products and can be further tailored with our serums, for example. By pressing gently, with the tips of your fingers, assess the elasticity and the condition of your skin. Our Anti-ageing serum treats brittle, fine lines, whilst our Moisture-boost serum targets drier skin. Lastly, our Anti-blemish serum combats clogged pores and inflamed skin.
