Beauty review: The new M.A.C Bronzer collection

I was lucky enough to attend a trends presentation with the always-inspiring M.A.C Cosmetics team last week, and came away – as per – super excited about makeup all over again. As well as looking at major backstage beauty inspo, I was introduced to some of their highly-covetable latest collections. 

The first one to seriously take my fancy is all about celebrating the start of summer, and comes in the form of the instantly iconic new Bronzer Collection. So much more than just your typical coppery compact, it offers multiple bronzing for all skin types and shades – it is M.A.C after all!

A collection of bronzed hues for the eyes, lips, face and body, it delivers a golden-hour glow you can achieve any day, anywhere. A limited edition offering, it includes the welcome return of fan favourite Foiled Shadow, in fresh, unabashedly sultry shades. The lightweight formula has a highly pigmented colour payoff with wet/dry technology for either a dry shimmer-metallic finish or intense, wet metal-foil finish, and it really lasts and lasts. Shades to love include golden Sand Tropez, rich brown Monaco-co, the champagne-hued White Haute, pink Sunphoria, and the taupe-y Tide 'n' Seek. Insanely flattering, they come with a super pretty debossed foil design, with metallic bronze packaging that’s drenched in an exclusive water droplet design.
Strobe Face Glaze is a beautiful, easy to use product that adds a dewy shine over foundation and to bare skin. It’s hydrating and non-drying too, so won’t go crusty after a few hours. Radiant Matte Bronzing Powder is another of my absolute must-haves, with translucent pigments and a softly milled feel that almost feels balmy on the skin – it is THAT comfortable. It wears like a charm too, and when you add the 143SES Medium Face Fan Brush to the mix you have a winning combo! The special synthetic bristles and fan shape help to spread bronzing powders and cheek products evenly and smoothly over face with maximum colour pickup and deposit. It has a metallic bronze handle with the aforementioned exclusive water droplet design, and almost looks to gorgeous to use.
Bronzelite Prep + Prime Fix+ Shimmer Primer and Setting Spray is the fan-favourite Fix+ formula infused with bronze pearlescent pearls for the ultimate glow. This formula still carries all the hydrating, soothing and refreshing benefits of the original version, but has a subtle bronze shimmer for a healthy, glowy finish.
The collection is rounded out by Strobe Body Lotion in Bronzelite for maximum lustre on the likes of shoulders and décolletage, and some lipstick and lip gloss shades depending on your preference.

I am so in love with this whole collection for its versatility and wearability, and because we all know the safest tan is a faux glow! All of the above are on counter now, so I highly recommend you get in quick before all of those super fan favourites are gone for good.
