First impressions: Laneige Lip Treatment Balm

It’s about this time of year when I find myself reaching for lip balms and lip masks more often than usual, with the cold mornings and evenings playing havoc with the health and wellbeing of my smackers. This will only increase as the temperature drops, so when the newest lip treat from Laneige came across my desk I was straight in there, lathering it on.
A pearlescent daily lip treatment that coats lips in nourishing hydration, Laneige’s new Lip Treatment Balm visibly smooths lip lines and boosts the look of lip fullness, with the most gorgeous pearlescent look and piña colada-scent.
Its main ingredients are coconut Oil to deeply moisturise andlock in hydration, Peptide and Adenosine to visibly smooth fine lines while boosting the look of fullness and firmness, and the aforementioned Pearlescent Shine, to reflect light for an illuminated, plump pout.
Like all of the offering from this cute as a button K-Beauty brand, the balm is free of parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban and triclosan, and it contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance. So if like me you opt for non-toxic but still efficacious, this baby might be the one for you.

Did I mention it delivers a cooling sensation for a lil’ extra plumping, and the applicator is stored in the lid for cleaner use? After just a few days I am in love.
With an RRP of a very affordable $37 given its luxe approach, this beauty is available from May 12 at Sephora stores and online at www.sephora.nz.
