Fragrance Friday: GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES launches full-size EDP collection

In fabulous news for fans of the brand and fragrance freaks everywhere, this September GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES debuts their collection of four 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum fine fragrances, presented within an exquisite bottle design by the legendary Pierre Dinand.
Within the circular faceted glass bottles are three much-loved and best-selling GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES fine fragrances - Forever Florence, Kyoto In Bloom and Midnight In Milan, which previously were only available in 14ml bottles.

The fourth fine fragrance is the most highly anticipated fine fragrance launch in GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES history, which sees their most renowned home fragrance scent developed into a personal fragrance –A Tahaa Affair ‘Devotion’. I’ve been wearing this gourmand beauty by perfumer Dominique Bouley during lockdown, and to say it has bought me much joy at a relatively joyless time would be putting it mildly!
“Since launching GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES 15 years ago, I set out to create the world’s best fine fragrance brand,” says Nicole Eckels, CEO and Founder of GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES. “Ever since, we have been working with the world’s best perfumers to develop both home fragrances, and more recently fine fragrances.”
“A Tahaa Affair ‘Devotion’ is without doubt the hardest fine fragrance that we have developed to date. The challenge lay in taking our bestselling candle fragrance that is designed to be burned in hot wax, into a complex, wearable fine fragrance that would retain the recognisable A Tahaa Affair butterscotch and caramel scents.
“I’m absolutely delighted with the complex 23 note fine fragrance result, which has olfactive profiling linking back to the original French Polynesian destination – Tahaa. We have aptly named it ‘A Tahaa Affair ‘Devotion’, after over a year in the making.”

Meanwhile Eckels and one of the world’s best perfume designers, Pierre Dinand, have been collaborating on the bottle design for the four fine fragrances since meeting in Paris in late 2018. Having created some of the most iconic perfume bottles of all time, such as Calvin Klein Eternity, YSL Opium and Karl Lagerfeld’s Fendi, the GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES bottle is no exception – unique, timeless and elegant with a modern twist. Faceted glass is featured on the sides of the bottle to reflect beautifully in natural light, paired with a premium, recyclable black magnetic lid for easy closure, and the iconic gold lock up front and centre.

The new Eau de Parfum collection is celebrated in a creative campaign featuring indigenous Australian model, Charlee Fraser (above), which is yet to be unveiled but promised to be breath taking.

Each Eau de Parfum scent is available in 14mL, 50mL, 100mL, an Eau de Parfum Twist & Spray Refillable Travel Atomiser, 400mL Body Lotion, 400mL Shower Gel, 380g/60g Triple Scented Soy Candle, 250mL Fragrance Diffuser.

The collection will be exclusively available from September 2 at glasshousefragrances.com and selected New Zealand stockists, 50mL RRP $109.00, 100mL RRP $149.00
