London Fashion Week get the look: Jane Richardson for NARS at Erdem

For the Erdem label’s recent outing at London Fashion Week, designer Erdem Moralioglu presented a collection that imagined the colourful, decadent nightlife surrounding a group of extraordinary women who embodied Berlin’s progressive cultural spirit in the 1930s: the painters Jeanne Mammen and Elfriede Lohse-Wächtler; the dancers Anita Berber and Valeska Gert; and photographer Madame d’Ora, whose work and being already played muse to the men’s collection Moralioglu launched last month and filtered onto his runway today.

“Inspired by Madame d’Ora, Erdem’s makeup direction for this season captures the photographer's intimate esthetic and provides a moment that breaks through the darkness,” said Jane Richardson, NARS Global Artistry Director. “The look is an informal complexion set against an occasional bright red lip,” yet another very relatable – and statement – look that can play into real life.
