Christmas countdown: My picks from the Glasshouse Fragrances holiday 2023 lineup
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to be invited to Sydney, Australia to preview the 2023 holiday offering from the always insanely innovative Glasshouse Fragrances. Over a mid-winter Christmas lunch we were introduced to the superlative new offering, then sworn to secrecy about the wonders that had been paraded before our eyes. It was such an honour to be invited into the Glasshouse inner sanctum, and an intimate dinner with the company’s New York-based founder, Nicole Eckels (above), was the icing on the cake.
Founded by the truly effervescent Nicole around seventeen years ago, the brand was born from a spark of imagination and a belief in the power of fragrance to transform and elevate the everyday. In 2023 the brand continues to explore and push the limits when it comes to our olfactory senses, and their holiday collection is a true testament to that. And in terms of style, maximalism is always a given when it comes to Glasshouse’s holiday offering, and this year is no different.
