Beauty news: Glossier is coming to MECCA!


A few years ago an LA-based friend dragged me to the Glossier West Hollywood store, and as a shameless beauty freak I have to admit that I was immediately obsessed. After years of reading about the industry disruptor and desperate for a play with their much-hyped, insanely well priced products, I was literally dropped into the Glossier world – and I was hooked. The store stretches along Melrose Avenue and West Knoll Drive in West Hollywood, and it’s a true beauty wonderland – for all ages. I came away with several fresh discoveries and an array of samples to fall hard for, then it was back to gazing at new drops online and saving my pennies for a trip back to the States.
But as of last year, that changed – as Glossier.com now ships to over 180 countries globally, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Mexico, and India. It was fabulous news for sure, but things just got even better as MECCA, Australia’s largest prestige beauty retailer, has announced a highly anticipated exclusive retail partnership with Glossier in Australia and New Zealand. This partnership marks Glossier’s debut in bricks-and-mortar retail in the Australasian market, offering customers the opportunity to swatch, trial, and shop Glossier’s iconic products in real-time, just as I did during a crazy LA Pride week all those years ago!
