Beauty news: ghd unveils its latest pink collection – and it’s gorgeous


As a two-time breast cancer survivor I always appreciate it when a beauty brand decides to “go pink” for the cause and actually commits to it year after year. A lot don’t, believe me! Not so ghd, who for 21 years have created a special ghd pink collection to raise funds for BC-related charities and increase awareness around self-checking for suspicious lumps and bumps. The company has collectd more than $24 million for breast cancer charities worldwide through their annual pink limited editions, making it a cause that ghd, and ghd employees, care passionately about.
This is the tenth year that ghd New Zealand has served up an amazing fundraising initiative for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, having already donated over a million dollars to the charity through sales of the coveted ghd pink stylers.
For 2024, the limited edition pink range is even more covetable however, having undergone yet another absolutely gorgeous makeover. Rendered in a delicious fondant pink hue, the styling classics have moved beyond ‘need’ to ‘must have’, and you’ll be supporting The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation with each and every purchase.

For the past nine years, ghd has donated $20 per purchase to Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF NZ), but for its tenth anniversary, wanted to do something extra special on top in the form of an initiative dubbed Our Pink.
The new initiative introduces us to a group of five employees at ghd, who share their heartfelt stories and experiences of how breast cancer has personally affected them and their loved ones. Those who kindly volunteered to share their personal stories as part of the campaign are: Janine Jennings (ghd UK & Ireland, Head of Education), Jennifer Lowe (ghd US, former employee, Director, Trade & Consumer Marketing), Belen Casado (ghd Spain, former employee, Digital Education), Giada Belloto (ghd Italy, Social Media Manager) and Lisa Bourhy (ghd France, E-commerce Manager).
