Fragrance Friday: MECCA MAX’s OPTIMIST ENERGISING FRAGRANCE MISTs

Playfully dubbed “your best energy, bottled” and with the same high performing qualities and incredible price point that we’ve come to know and love from the brand, MECCA MAX’s new body mists are destined to be a runaway hit.
With two of the three already sold out online as I type, it’s clear that Team MECCA MAX knew exactly what they were doing when they finally decided to enter the scent scene, with a trio of cute, lush scents landing just in time for summer. The limited edition OPTIMIST fragrances are designed to work as a scent wardrobe of sorts, on hand to spritz on wherever and whenever, and formulated for use on body and hair for a wave of OPTIMISTism.
Long-lasting and lush, they were created to evoke moods and places, capturing “the moments from when you’ve been there or want to be there”, for a true scents check any time of day or night. So what can you expect from each?

HOLIDAY HEATWAVE
Feels like: The ultimate summer crush with a side of doing it for the plot.
Smells like: Sweet coconut and warm vanilla with a refreshing sea salt twist. Perfectly portable for on-the-go mood boosts, with top notes of sea salt and lime, a heart of freesia and coconut and base of driftwood, tonka bean and vanilla. I love this for a hit of summer even on the greyest of days.

TOP DOWN
Feels like: Hitting the open road for a spontaneous day trip, wheel in your hands and wind in your hair.
Smells like: Clean, crisp apple, ripe melon, and freshly cut greens with a bright floral heart. With top notes of cucumber, melon and water lily, a heart of green apple, jasmine and violet and a base of white musk, this is for the definitely for the floral lovers out there with a super fresh hit.

DATE NIGHT BUTTERFLIES
Feels like: A flirty, fun night out, full of anticipation and the exciting potential of a budding romance.
Smells like: A bouquet bursting with fragrant blooms and a peppery top note to spice things up. Subtly sexy and my preferred option of the three for night, this spicy beauty has top notes of pepper, blackcurrant and pear, a heart of rose, magnolia and gardenia and a sultry base of cedarwood, moss and vetiver. I love!
