The gift of protection: Emma Lewisham introduces the incredible Sunceutical™ SPF 50 range

A few weeks ago I was invited to have coffee with the inimitable Emma Lewisham, whose eponymous skincare brand I have watched grow into a global powerhouse since its very first launch just over five years ago. Despite international success and awards a plenty, Emma is still the clever, kind and compassionate woman she was when I met her back in 2019, and her passion for R&D in the area of all things skin health remains undimmed. To say we had a great catch up would be putting it mildly, and I left with a top-secret lab sample of her newest creation – which if her comments were anything to go by, just may be the one she’s most proud of yet.
And now I can talk about it! Come Boxing Day, December 26, Emma Lewisham will be releasing their Sunceutical™ SPF 50 range. An incredible eight years in the making, first impressions point to the brand achieving the pinnacle of what SPF formulations can deliver — mineral, luxury and performance.

The lab sample I used down to the very last drop, this advanced crème harnesses the brightening power of Niacinamide to even skin tone by reducing melanin trans­fer to surface skin cells. Innovative messenger peptide, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, powerfully enhances the synthe­sis of collagen and glycosaminoglycan production for skin longevity and to powerfully repair and prevent the signs of ageing — helping to reinforce the epidermis for long term wrinkle resistance. This biopeptide also mimics retinoic acid-like activity without irritation. Sunceutical™ SPF 50 Mineral Body Crème
I haven’t tried this one yet, but the deeply hydrating crème sounds like the dream for high summer when the layers drop off. It comes enriched with antioxi­dant-rich botanicals, including Pongamia pinnata seed extract, which protects and soothes the skin against exter­nal stressors to actively calm the skin and reduce redness. This potent natural antioxidant shields the skin by pro­viding strong pollution protection against environmental aggressors that challenge skin health daily. Scientifically proven in vitro to have protective effects against air pol­lutants after 15 minutes of exposure, it offers protection as soon as you step out the door.
