PFW Runway Hair How-to: Wella Professionals & ghd forVictoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham unveiled elegant sheaths with a subtly sexy edge, exquisitely folded collars and statement sleeves with an unexpectedly chic billow on the Fall-Winter 2025-2026 runway during Paris Fashion Week, and I was here for it. I was also most definitely here for the accompanying beauty look, which included a statement eye and chic ponytail, the latter of which was achieved using Wella Professionals styling products and ghd tools.
Celebrity makeup artist Lucia Pica created the eye-with-a-difference, which involved a heady dose of burgundy mascara in the form of Victoria Beckham Beauty’s new Future Lash Mascara in Bordeaux drenching lashes from root to tip. To offset the red on lashes, lids were swept with a single hue, the molten bronze from the brand’s Eye Wardrobe Bordeaux palette and brows were softened in tone to a cool beige thanks to a swipe of FeatherFix Brow Gel in Blonde. Skin was simply perfected with a dab or two of The Concealer Pen with TCF8 only where needed, and touches of luminosity were added along cheekbones by tapping on the light-reflecting pigments in The Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator in Pearlescent and Golden before lips were slicked with a subtle swipe of Posh Balm in Glacé.
Wella Professionals partnered with the designer to create the hair look in partnership with lead hairstylist Anthony Turner, whose work I love. “Effortless yet considered” was the focus backstage, which involved a smooth side parting and longer hair gathered into a low, undone pony. It was a look described by Beckham as “strong yet undeniably feminine,” to which I wholeheartedly agree.
The look was achieved using the groundbreaking new chronos max styler (which I have literally just been gifted and am currently obsessing over) and the revolutionary Wella Professionals ULTIMATE REPAIR and ULTIMATE SMOOTH products. Wella’s ULTIMATE REPAIR products prepared the hair, strengthening, smoothing, and restoring shine to models’ damaged hair. The looks were then perfected with the newly launched ULTIMATE SMOOTH Miracle Oil Serum, which offers heat protection while nourishing their hair in just 30 seconds.
The chronos max styler is the latest beauty-tech innovation by ghd, and uses what they have dubbed “chronos technology” to identify the users' styling motions and react by delivering the right amount of power into the plates to maintain the optimum temperature of 185°C to a new ‘higher level’ of precision. Better heat consistency delivers superior results and serious shine, whether you’re straightening or curling, styling fast or slow, or taking small or large sections. As someone who has a long thatch of hair and appreciates less time in front of the mirror, it’s a game changer.
Keen to create the look at home? Read on for Anthony’s steps below…
